Itâs a quiet list but my experience is that it is very helpful when you need it. You might take a look at the distro available on Debian if you have the option. I donât recommend that one that Red Hat provides.

Subject: Re: [Aide] AIDE project status
Considering what it does, it's not really a program that needs to be updated constantly
It's fairly easy to use and works well
Keep in mind that if you use the Linux distro's repo, AIDE's configs might change between one distro to another, so you might want to do a manual install instead.

Hi All,
I'm evaluating AIDE for deployment in a new environment and I'm wondering about the project status. It appears that there hasn't been a stable release since September 2010, and the development mailing list is very quiet. Is AIDE still alive?
Thanks,
Ben
